The Jewish Heritage Museum tells the unique story of Jews in Atlanta from 1845 to
the present through art and artifacts. They depict members of the Jewish community
at prayer, home, work and play. The central gallery of the Museum is the comprehensive
Holocaust exhibit: Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years. This moving display
features photos, documents and personal memorabilia from Atlanta families who either
survived the horror themselves or shared the stories of their loved ones.
Special exhibits reflecting the universal themes of respect for difference, responsible
citizenship, building community and personal responsibility change throughout the year.
